Hurricanes, Hurricane's, Hurricanes' or Hurricanes's (ugh...)

Many have asked, "Just what is it" ?    Is it plural, is it possessive ?

Is it plural possessive ?  Is it spelled wrong ?

Some may argue about storms verses aircraft. 

Did we rip off the name from that other "Aircraft" band (who were not plural) ?

(Well, the vaults are closed on that last one)

All we can be sure of is that it is not unlike an athletic team.

and we happen to be a
